I am very busy playing live with my solo shows as well as with the band, and will be performing at the Save The Date Wedding Fayre.
This year I will be working with many brilliant suppliers who may be at the wedding fayre. If you see them , well they are awesome …..
The greatest venues in the area like Stubton Hall, Thrumpton Hall, Prestwold Hall, Sutton Bonnington Hall, Carraige Hall, Colwick Hall, Harts, Breadsall Priory, Holme Pierrepont Hall, Langar Hall, Farndon Boathouse and Tom Browns.
Also looking forward to playing outside of the UK as well in Greece, Lake Como, Spain ,Italy and Portugal. Usually doing these gigs solo as its quite easy to pack up just a guitar and few bits and bobs.
What a great summer – we’ve had SOME perfect weather for weddings lately and I’ve seen lots of happy brides in and around Nottinghamshire. You can’t beat a beautiful day at Stubton Hall or Carriage Hall. Aside from the weddings, I’ll be playing at several garden parties – most of which I’ve done weddings and Anniversary parties for in the past, so it’ll be so great for me to see familiar faces in the crowd. Not many things beat a Pimms or a cold beer in a beautiful garden with acoustic chilled-out tunes!
Many many weddings and celebrations already and this year the busiest yet. Myself and the band have been very hard at work with new tunes and hairstyles and Wedding fayres including the big Save The Date one in Nottingham which will be back again next year.
And now it’s the time of year time again when the party atmosphere is in full swing. I’ve had some great gigs recently-the atmosphere has really moved up a notch and it’s great to be able to provide some fantastic tunes for some fantastic crowds!
December brings with it plenty of ‘company party’s’ – always good nights! But you can’t beat a winter wedding and I’m really looking forward to playing for several bride-and-grooms-to-be this month too, at some beautiful venues, the likes of Stubton Hall, Norwood Park and Kilworth House. Bring on the party season.
I have finally finished my album of covers which is available online if you need some presents for friends.
If you are thinking of getting married soon it would be well worth getting in touch soon as possible, for every 50 dates I take I sadly have to turn away 100 enquiries as I am already booked. So don’t leave it too late if you can.
What an incredible year it has been for myself and the band.
We have played non stop all over the midlands and UK.
Thank you to all the wonderful brides and grooms that booked us and had The Richie Muir Band as soundtrack to their big day.
We have had a blast.
Here’s a few photos from the year.
What a fab day, thanks to Abbi, Lydia and the Save The Date crew for putting on a superb day. We had the pleasure of providing the live music before the awesome catwalk show, there was not a seat spare seat in the house !!!! Like to think it was for the band but I reckon it was for the beautiful girls in their awesome bridal wear……. however Bob on the Bass and Matt on the Drums looked gorgeous 🙂
Great to catch up with old friends like musicians Ben Hickling, Jason hart and Photographers, Crash Taylor. Darren Cresswell and Rachel Connerton.
Diary is filling up very quickly now for 2013 with 2014 not far behind!!! . If you are looking for a weekend date between Feb and Oct I would highly recommend securing the date asap.
Till the next Wedding Fayre with a difference…. Don’t miss it
If you are getting married and would like to have a chat and see what can be done musically at your wedding and in your budget then pop down to my Thursday residency at The Southbank Bar in West Bridgford. There is no obligation at all and will give you all the info you need to make informed decisions. I start at 10pm and have 15 min breaks at 10.30 and 11.15 and finish at 12 pm. So just call me over.
Check out James and Kitty ,at Stubton Hall ,in the photo to the right dancing their first dance. They asked us to perform ‘Higher and Higher’ and what a great party starter. Dancing from start to finish. Awesome evening
Well, Its been an extremely busy summer (if you can call it that) so far. Such fantastic venues and wonderful couples tying the knot. The privilege of being there to introduce the first dance right through to the moment when all their friends and loved ones are circled around the bride and groom enjoying, and embracing ,the happiest moment in their life while singing and dancing is quite overwhelming sometimes. Thank you to all who have had myself and the other members of the Richie Muir Band play at their special day. The letters and emails received after have been so lovely to read and made me smile very widely 🙂
Fabulous evening at Goosedale for the Iris Charity ball.
Thousands of pounds raised and such a fun night. I played along with Robert Wilmott on piano as our 2 Piece band (you wont believe the sound we can make 🙂 Some pics from the night here too courtesy of
