FAQ

What do the different band line-ups include?

The Solo consists of: Acoustic Guitar, Vocal
The Duo consists of: Acoustic Guitar, Drums, 2 Vocals
The Band consists of: Acoustic Guitar, Bass, Drums ,3 Vocals
How long do the band need to set up?

To set up & sound check usually takes around half an hour, which includes a sound check.

How much space do you require?

As a guide we can play comfortably on a   (4 metres) by (3 metres) stage/space.

What time will the band start playing?

This is completely up to you and your schedule on the day!

What do the band usually wear?

The band will wear smart clothing to fit in with your occasion, with the band in shirts & ties.

Can the band provide a DJ?

Richie Muir can provide a DJ package including a full dancefloor lighting rig. For a much smaller fee than it would normally cost for a separate DJ, we can provide the entire night’s entertainment. Playing before, in-between and after the band sets, the DJ set is manned and requests are welcome.

Will the band play request or a first dance?

If enough notice is given, we are able to do this – please contact us for more information. If a rehearsal with the band is needed for a special song there maybe a fee.

What are the power requirements to operate the bands equipment?

Richie Muir requires at least two x 13amp double switch sockets as a minimum supplied via a 32 amp ring main (this is a standard arrangement) to enable full operation of the PA and lighting rig. All electrical equipment is fully PAT tested and risk assessed, certificates available for inspection.
